Job summary

Remedy Recruitment Group are recruiting for a Primary/Secondary SEN Teaching Assistant in Harlow, Essex, to start ASAP for a long-term, full-time role.

You will provide 1:1 and small group support across primary and secondary classes, assist with communication, emotional regulation and engagement, and follow EHCP targets with individual plans. The school offers dedicated support and meaningful development opportunities.

Qualifications

Are you a patient, caring and committed SEN Teaching Assistant looking to start a new role as soon as possible where you can genuinely make a difference?

We are working with a well-resourced and highly supportive SEN school in Harlow/Essex that caters for both primary and secondary-aged pupils. They are looking to appoint a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their specialist provision as soon as possible.

The Role

  • Comfortable working across both primary and secondary age groups
  • Confident supporting non-verbal or limited communication pupils
  • Willing to support personal care where needed
  • Strong team player with a proactive attitude
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

Both experienced SEN Teaching Assistants and strong mainstream TAs looking to move into a specialist setting are encouraged to apply.
