Job summary

Frontier Consulting invites applications for Teaching Assistants in a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school. You will support students who may feel frustrated, anxious or emotional, guiding them to manage emotions and behaviour with a dedicated team. Full training, safeguarding and positive behaviour support are provided.

Role requires physical and mental resilience and a can-do attitude, with some personal care for students. Term-time, permanent contracts offered with good benefits.

Job description

We are seeking Teaching Assistants to join our Special Educational Needs (SEN) school.

Supporting their students can sometimes be challenging. They may get frustrated, anxious and emotional and you will need to guide them through it by helping them to manage their feelings and behaviour. You will have the ongoing support of a skilled and dedicated team. Comprehensive training and mentoring includes learning about safeguarding, autism and positive behaviour support.

Physical and mental resilience are essential qualities for all their staff along with a \"can do\" attitude. You must be prepared to provide personal care for some of our students who require assistance to stay clean and comfortable (full training will be given).

Full training is provided and you should have passed GCSE`s in English & Mathematics to be considered as a minimum. There are also opportunities for experienced Teaching Assistants.

These positions are term time only on permanent on contracts, where you get good benifits!

School hours are 36 per week: Monday , Tuesday - Thursday 08.30 - 16.15 and Friday 08.30 - 15.45 plus thirty minutes admin time.
