Teaching Assistant – Year 2
An Ofsted “Good” two-form entry primary school in Birmingham is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support a Year 2 class. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a welcoming and supportive team, working closely with the class teacher to provide high-quality learning support to pupils.

As a Teaching Assistant in this Year 2 class, you will be providing both general classroom support and targeted small group interventions to help pupils develop key skills in literacy and numeracy. The school has a nurturing environment, excellent resources, and a strong focus on pupil development.
Job Role:
  • Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons to Year 2 pupils.
  • Providing one-to-one and small group interventions to help raise attainment.
  • Encouraging and supporting the personal and social development of pupils.
  • Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assisting with classroom management and supporting children with varying needs.
