Are you a qualified Level 3 Teaching Assistant looking for a new challenge in Birmingham?
We are currently recruiting for a SEND Teaching Assistant to work in a mainstream primary school in North Birmingham. This role involves supporting a pupil with Global Developmental Delay and Speech and Language difficulties on a full-time, one-to-one basis. The position is expected to start as soon as possible and will continue until the end of the academic year, with the possibility of extension.
The pupil is in Year 2 but is working within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum. Therefore, knowledge of the EYFS and Key Stage 1 (KS1) curriculum is essential.
The school offers a nurturing environment that encourages pupils to take the lead in their own learning. Your role will involve promoting this ethos through guided learning sessions and creative interventions, with the ultimate goal of reintegrating the pupil into the classroom.
