Are you a motivated individual looking for your next position within Primary Education? Are you looking for Full Time work?

Prospero work closely with a high achieving school based in Wakefield who are seeking a motivated Teaching Assistant to join them.

The successful candidate will be able to provide exceptional support to students and demonstrate good behaviour and classroom assistance/management.

Contracts/Positions Details

• Location: Wakefield
• Position- Teaching Assistant
• Type of work- Full time
• Contract – Long term
• Start Date- ASAP
• End Date – N/A
• Duration – Ongoing
• Minimum rate of pay – Minimum rate £11ph
• Hours- 8:30 to 16:00

Your responsibilities will include;

• Working with children on a one-to-one basis or in small groups
• Support in therapy sessions
• Break/Lunch time supervision
• Keeping progress reports

Experience, Training and Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a UK School
• Experience working with children in education or in a similar setting
• Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as training can be provided)

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
