SEMH Teaching Assistant Role at Prospero Teaching

Prospero Teaching is seeking an enthusiastic SEMH Teaching Assistant to join an excellent school in Wakefield. While experience working with SEMH needs in a school setting is preferred, personal or professional experience supporting SEMH is highly valuable. The ability to care for and nurture children with these needs is essential.

This role offers a daily rate starting at GBP 85, which can increase to GBP 100 or more depending on experience and training.

Ideal Candidate Should:

• Have experience working with children with SEMH needs, either 1:1 or in groups
• Possess training or experience in Team Teach, PECS, or Makaton
• Have strong interpersonal skills
• Take initiative
• Be committed to working five days a week

• Minimum pay rate: GBP 85 per day

Eligibility Requirements

• Hold the Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for a new one
• Provide professional references covering the past two years
