This role focuses on supporting pupils with their learning, development and wider educational needs. You will work closely with teachers to provide one-to-one or small-group help, assist with engaging activities, and support pupils with SEND where needed.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils in classroom settings.
• Ability to work with pupils of varied abilities.
• Patient, caring and approachable.
• Able to work well in a team.
• Experience with SEND is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils in the classroom with one-to-one or small-group help.
• Assisting teachers with engaging learning activities.
• Providing additional support to pupils who may have SEND or additional learning needs.
• Helping pupils develop confidence, independence and positive behaviour.
• Supporting pupils with their social, emotional and academic development.
• Monitoring and reporting on pupil progress where appropriate.
• Creating a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment.
