Contract: Full-time / Term-time only

Salary: £13.75 - £15 per hour

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team from September 2025. This role focuses on working with pupils who have speech, language, and communication needs (SLCN), helping them to thrive both socially and academically.
Work 1:1 or in small groups with pupils who require additional support with speech and language.
Implement speech and language programmes under the guidance of the SENCo and external therapists.
Support classroom teachers by adapting learning tasks to meet pupils' communication needs.
Monitor and record pupil progress, contributing to EHCP reviews and support plans.
Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment where all children feel valued.
Experience working with children with SLCN or in a SEN/TA role (preferred but not essential).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A calm, patient, and nurturing approach.
Ability to work collaboratively with staff, external specialists, and families.
Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 TA qualification, SALT training) are desirable.
