A caring and inclusive secondary school in Cheadle (Stockport) is seeking a committed ASC Teaching Assistant to join their SEND department on a full-time basis from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for those with experience or a strong interest in supporting neurodiverse learners.
Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with ASC
Assist in delivering structured routines and visual support strategies
Help students access learning across the curriculum while promoting independence
Work closely with teachers, the SENCO, and external agencies to implement EHCPs and targeted support plans
Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour in line with the school’s inclusive ethos
Location: Cheadle, Stockport
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-time for the academic year (with potential to become permanent)
Pay: £89.38 – £100 per day (dependent on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:15am – 3:15pm

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
