Job summary

The Thinking Schools Academy Trust seeks a Teaching Assistant to join All Faiths Children's Academy, supporting teachers and pupils in the classroom environment. The role focuses on promoting positive behaviour, raising self-esteem, and helping pupils work independently while assisting with progress monitoring and intervention records.

Qualifications

• Deliver tailored support to pupils under the direction of the Classroom Teacher.
• Coach and support pupils' learning by supervising and assisting them in 1:1 sessions and small groups.
• Help pupils engage across a variety of learning activities and interventions.
• Work collaboratively with staff to ensure pupils have access to the resources they need to succeed.

Responsibilities

• Support children with special educational needs on a 1:1 basis.
• Assist with observation and monitoring of pupil progress and maintain records of interventions.
