Job summary

All Faiths Children’s Academy within The Thinking Schools Academy Trust is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support teachers and promote positive behaviour, helping pupils progress and develop independence in learning.

The role involves assisting with observation, recording interventions, preparing differentiated materials, and working with pupils with SEND as required. DBS checks and safeguarding apply.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored support to pupils under the direction of the Classroom Teacher
• Coach and support pupils' learning by supervising and assisting them in 1:1 sessions and small groups
• Help pupils engage across a variety of learning activities and interventions
• Work collaboratively with staff to ensure pupils have access to the resources they need to succeed
• Support children with special educational needs on a 1:1 basis
