All Faiths Children’s Academy invites applications for a Teaching Assistant to support class teachers in teaching and pupil welfare. You will help raise self-esteem, assist in monitoring progress, and prepare differentiated work under supervision.
The role may involve working with pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans and administering First Aid after training. The school emphasises safeguarding and a commitment to promoting welfare; visits to the school are encouraged and DBS checks
All Faiths Children’s Academy are seeking a Teaching Assistant to join their team supporting class teachers in the teaching and welfare of pupils, promoting positive behaviour patterns, raising self-esteem and improving independent working in pupils to assist in their education and growth. The successful candidate will assist the teacher with observation and monitoring of the progress of pupils, maintaining accurate records of interventions, together with detailing their progress and achievement. They will also, under the direction of the teacher, prepare differentiated work and materials for pupils’ use, display work and resources.
There may be a requirement to work with pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans or additional educational needs throughout the Key Stages. There may also be a requirement to administer First Aid, subject to appropriate training.
