Job description

Axcis Education is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant for a long-term position at a mainstream secondary school in the Wigan area. The role is full-time, starting in September, and will last for the entire academic year.

School Details

• Large mainstream secondary school
• Students with additional needs such as autism, MLD, ADHD, and SEMH difficulties
• Challenging behaviors requiring strong behavior management skills

Role Requirements

1. Childcare experience
2. Ideally SEND experience
3. Hardworking, empathetic, confident, and a team player

Details

• Hours: 8:30 am - 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday
• Pay: Starting at £96 per day
• Interview with the headteacher prior to starting
