Teaching Personnel are currently working with a Secondary school based in Wigan. They are seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant to work 1-1 with pupils who requires additional learning support. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for supporting young people in their early academic development.
The role:
As a 1-1 Teaching Assistant, you will support the individuals in mainstream classes as well as small groups or 1-1 support in specific subject areas. This may include specific, targeted interventions in core subjects or just general behaviour support when students are struggling in mainstream classes. You will be working with students across KS3 and KS4 all with differing needs, requiring you to communicate effectively with other members of staff.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
