Job summary

The role focuses on nurturing emotional regulation, resilience and personal development, working alongside teachers to deliver engaging, outcomes-led support for learners who may have disengaged from mainstream education.

Responsibilities

• Working closely with children and young people to help them re-engage with learning and build confidence.
• Supporting pupils with challenging or complex behaviours.
• Encouraging pupils to reconnect with education and learning.
• Building positive, trusting relationships and becoming someone they can rely on.
• Using creative and engaging activities to make learning enjoyable.
• Supporting emotional regulation, confidence and personal development.
• Working alongside teachers and other professionals to provide consistent support.
• Encouraging pupils to make positive choices and take responsibility for their actions.
