Job summary

Ace Academics Consultancy is recruiting a Primary Teaching Assistant / LSA for a Kensington & Chelsea, London placement. The role offers 110 - 135 per day, full-time long-term, with small class sizes and a supportive staff team.

You will provide personalised academic and pastoral support to primary pupils, help with literacy and numeracy, and work closely with teachers to foster a safe, inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as Teaching Assistant or SEN TA in a primary setting.
• Able to support pupils with varied learning needs and behavioural needs.
• Strong communication skills and safeguarding commitment.

Ace Academics are recruiting a Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant to join a supportive primary alternative provision setting in Kensington & Chelsea.

This is a rewarding opportunity to work with primary-aged pupils in small classes, providing personalised academic and pastoral support to help pupils engage positively with their learning.

The Role

• Supporting pupils across the primary curriculum
• Providing 1:1 and small-group support
• Supporting pupils with SEND, SEMH and additional learning needs
• Helping pupils with literacy, numeracy and classroom activities
• Promoting positive behaviour, engagement and confidence
• Working closely with teachers and pastoral/support staff
• Helping maintain a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, LSA, Learning Support Practitioner or SEN TA
• Primary school experience highly desirable
• Confident supporting pupils with different learning and behavioural needs
• Patient, positive and able to build strong relationships with pupils
• Good communication and classroom support skills
• Committed to safeguarding and pupil well-being
