Job summary

Educo Recruitment is recruiting Teaching Assistants for East London, spanning Newham, Tower Hamlets, Hackney and Waltham Forest. Roles are full-time, long-term and permanent with opportunities across primary and secondary schools in North London.

Ideal candidates will support pupils both 1:1 and in groups, assist teachers with delivery and maintain engaging, inclusive classrooms. DBS update service is preferred or willingness to obtain one.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people in a school setting desirable but not essential
• Positive, patient and proactive attitude
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, professional and willing to learn
• Genuine passion for supporting young people
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service (or willing to obtain one)
