Job summary

St Mary of Charity CofE (Aided) Primary School in England is seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to join a friendly team. The role focuses on supporting pupils’ learning, wellbeing, and development within an inclusive classroom environment.

You will work closely with class teachers, support learning across a range of ages and abilities, and assist with planning, assessments, and reports. Term-time, 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 38 weeks, with opportunities for professional development.

Job description

We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team at St Mary of Charity CofE (Aided) Primary School. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people and support high‑quality learning across the school.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to support pupils’ learning, wellbeing, and development. You will help create a positive, inclusive classroom environment and provide tailored support to individual pupils or small groups, including those with additional needs.

This post is for 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term time only (38 weeks).

Key Responsibilities
