St Mary's C of E Primary School in Godalming seeks a caring Teaching Assistant to support pupils with SEND in a KS2 classroom. The role is 4 days per week and includes working with the SENDCo to meet EHCP goals.

St Mary's C of E Primary School is seeking a caring, patient and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and dedicated team for 4 days per week. This role will primarily involve supporting pupils with SEND within a Key Stage 2 classroom, although there may be opportunities to work alongside children in other classes as required.

You will work closely with class teachers and the SENDCo to support pupils with SEND to access learning successfully within the classroom environment. You will play a vital role in helping children develop confidence, independence and positive relationships, whilst ensuring that their individual needs are met in line with their EHCP outcomes and support plans.

Previous experience of supporting children with SEND, including those with EHCPs, would be advantageous, although the right personal qualities and a willingness to learn are equally important.
