St Mary’s Catholic Primary Academy in Halifax wishes to appoint an Educational Teaching Assistant to commence ASAP. The post is Scale 3 (Point 5–6), full-time, term-time only, 27.5 hours per week.
The successful candidate will support learning in the classroom, follow the class teacher’s directions and work to raise pupil progress, confidence and engagement while upholding the Catholic ethos of the school.

The Academy Council of St Mary’s Catholic Primary Academy wishes to appoint a caring, reliable, calm, positive and skilled person to support the teaching of the curriculum through high‑quality assistance to our pupils within the classroom setting. In this role, you will use a creative and impactful approach, follow the specific direction of the class teacher and work effectively to improve learning for pupils, whilst enhancing their educational progress, personal experience and character development.
