Job summary

Vetro Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to support a primary school on the Wirral. This part-time, temporary role focuses on aiding learning and wellbeing across Foundation Stage and KS1, under a welcoming team in a vibrant, inclusive environment.

You will assist with planning engaging activities, support social and emotional development, and help maintain high standards and child protection policies within the school ethos.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent.
• Proven experience supporting children within EYFS and KS1 settings.
• Knowledge of child protection procedures and safeguarding policies.
• Strong commitment to supporting children’s mental health and wellbeing.
• Enhanced DBS check and willingness to support the school’s religious ethos.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the delivery of the EYFS and KS1 curriculum, ensuring high-quality learning experiences for children.
