Job summary

Trinity Church of England/Methodist Primary School in Buckshaw Village, Chorley, is seeking a Teaching Assistant Level 2B to support children's learning in a Christian school community.

The role is part-time (TA2B) at 28.75 hours per week with Welfare 2.5 hours per week, on a fixed-term contract for one year with a possibility of permanency. Salary is calculated pro rata to a Foundation Living Wage basis.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification appropriate to the post.
• Level 2 English/Literacy and Mathematics/Numeracy.
• Paediatric First Aid/First Aid certificate.
• Experience of working in a classroom environment.
• Experience of supporting pupils with challenging behaviour/SEN; knowledge of the curriculum.
