Job summary

Brierley CE (VC) Primary School in England is seeking a Full Time Teaching Assistant (Grade 2) to support pupils across the primary phase. The role is 31.25 hours per week during term time, starting October 2026.

We are looking for an individual who is patient, creative, and able to work both as part of a team and independently, with the ability to handle some challenging behaviour and foster positive relationships with parents and carers, while upholding the Christian ethos of the school.

Qualifications

• Experience working with KS1 and Lower KS2.
• Patience, caring and sensitive towards vulnerable people.
• Able to work as part of a team and independently.
