Job summary

Lancashire County Council invites applications for a Teaching Assistant 2B and Lunchtime Welfare maternity cover at Trinity Church of England/Methodist Primary School, Buckshaw Village, Chorley. The post is 28.75 hours per week for the TA2B element, plus 2.5 hours welfare per week, pro rata for term time plus inset days.

The successful candidate will hold NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent), Level 2 English/Literacy and Maths/Numeracy, Paediatric First Aid, and classroom experience with SEN knowledge.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification appropriate to the post.
• Level 2 English/Literacy and Mathematics/Numeracy.
• Paediatric First Aid/First Aid certificate.
• Experience of working in a classroom environment.
• Experience of supporting pupils with challenging behaviour/SEN knowledge of the curriculum.
