Ribble Drive Primary in Whitefield is seeking a Teaching Assistant Level 2 for a temporary contract to 31 August 2027. The role is 27.5 hours per week during term-time, with a Grade 6 / Actual Salary of £17,220. Start date from November 2026 or as soon as possible.

The successful candidate will support pupils in a caring, collaborative team and work closely with teachers to meet individual and group learning needs while promoting a safe, stimulating learning environment.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in a primary school setting.
• Exercise of working with small groups, 1-1 and whole classes, meeting their needs.
• Experience of liaising with class teachers and other agencies.
• Experience of administering interventions.
• A strong teamwork ethos.
• A desire to be flexible and proactive.
• A real passion for children and supporting their learning.
