Job summary

St Mary's Church in Wales VA Primary School, Brymbo invites applications for a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support Year 1 & 2. The role is 37 hours per week, term time only, within a friendly, Christian-ethos school community.

You will work with the class teacher to deliver engaging activities, support literacy and numeracy, assist with resources and classroom organisation, and help monitor pupil wellbeing and safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Experience in Phonics (read & write inc) is desirable.
• Caring, reliable and a good team player is essential.
• Demonstrates initiative and a positive attitude.
• Genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
• Ability to build strong, professional relationships with pupils and staff.

Responsibilities

St Mary's Primary School is seeking to appoint a motivated, enthusiastic and friendly Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our committed team.
We are a Church in Wales school with a strong Christian ethos, where nurturing every child's wellbeing, learning and spiritual development is at the heart of all we do.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the teacher in delivering high-quality learning activities
• Work with individuals and small groups to support literacy, numeracy and wellbeing
