Job summary

The Streetly Academy is seeking a Teaching Assistant – Level 2 to join our vibrant school community. The post is permanent, term-time at 32.5 hours per week, with actual pay of £19,766 - £20,080 per annum.

Start date is Autumn Term/November 2026. The academy values safeguarding, inclusive education, and professional development, offering opportunities to support learning and participate in clubs and activities.

• A qualified and enthusiastic team player to work under the direction of the Head of Department to enable students to access learning and to assist the class teacher in the management of students and the classroom
• The successful candidate to have some involvement in students’ personal care, where we provide additional resourced provisions for physically disabled students – both male and female

• An individual who is committed to delivering active and engaging learning, which enthuses young people and motivates them to want to succeed
• An individual who can set targets that stretch and challenge students of all backgrounds, abilities and dispositions
• An individual with a continued commitment to their own professional development.
