Job summary

Peterborough Diocese Education Trust is seeking a caring Teaching Assistant to support children in upper Key Stage 2 within a welcoming school community.

The role comprises 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00–3:30, and runs as a fixed-term contract until 31 August 2027. The successful candidate will be confident, resilient and committed to SEN provision, with strong literacy and numeracy and the ability to work well with children, staff and parents.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with and supporting children in a school environment.
• Good knowledge of SEN Provision.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Good Literacy and Numeracy skills.
• Ability to build relationships with children, staff and parents.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.
