Job summary

Queensbridge Primary School is seeking a Teaching Assistant Level 2 to commence as soon as possible. The role is 32.5 hours per week, term time plus two days, fixed-term until 31 August 2027 with potential permanency.

Salary ranges from £26,847 to £29,071 (pro rata to £19,899–£21,547). The post requires dedication to safeguarding and supporting children with SEND, including PMLD/SLD/ASD where advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with learning difficulties including PMLD/SLD/ASD would be an advantage.
• Ability to deliver a differentiated curriculum enabling meaningful inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Support children across key stages and with SEND under supervision of teaching staff.
• Contribute to delivery of a differentiated curriculum for inclusion and access to learning.
• Work with other staff and agencies to support pupils.
• Safeguard and care for children in our school.
• Promote positive attitudes to learning using effective strategies.
