Job summary

Queensbury School, part of EIAT in North Birmingham, is seeking committed Level 2 Teaching Assistants who can plan and deliver the curriculum and support pupils to achieve their potential. The post may be across Queensbury or New Horizons sites.

The role offers Grade 2 salary (£24,796–£26,824 FTE) with SEN Allowance (£1,722 pro rata), 32.50 hours per week, term-time only, permanent contract, and a January 2027 start. Enhanced DBS required and safeguarding checks will apply.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant role with SEN experience.
• Enhanced DBS check required.
• Ability to work across multiple sites (Queensbury School and New Horizons).
• Commitment to safeguarding and recruitment policies.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver the curriculum in an engaging and inclusive way.
• Communicate effectively with children, staff and parents.
• Work as part of a collaborative team to support pupil learning.
