Job summary

Denbigh Primary School is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant 2 to join our caring team. You will support pupils across the primary age range, including those with SEND, both in classrooms and small groups, and assist with after-school activities. This role requires a positive attitude, good English, and a commitment to safeguarding.

Hours per week are 32.5–35 with 5 training days; pay scale is £20,407–£22,733 per annum. Shortlisting occurs late October; closing date 21 October 2026.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at Grade 4/C or equivalent.
• Strong spoken and written English.
• Experience in a school or similar setting is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support students within all ability classrooms.
• Provide 1:1 and group support where required.
• Work alongside experienced classroom practitioners in delivering the curriculum.
• Lead and/or support after-school creative or sports activities and events.
