Job summary

Old Moat in Manchester is looking for an enthusiastic practitioner to join our committed team as a teaching assistant. The role is permanent and full-time, working 8:30am–4:00pm with a 30-minute lunch, Monday to Friday. Start date: 14 September 2026.

Salary Grade 3: £26,427–£26,846 FTE; pro rata for term-time only working. We seek someone who communicates well with adults and children, is patient, proactive, and dedicated to supporting learners, including those with SEND, and who values family

Qualifications

  • Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools.
  • Numeracy/Literacy and ICT skills at Level 2 (NQF).

About The Role

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Hours: Full Time, 8:30am until 4:00pm with half hour unpaid lunch. Monday to Friday
