Job summary

St Giles Academy in Lincoln is seeking a Teaching Assistant Level 2 to support teaching and learning in an inclusive environment. The role involves 1:1 work at times, assisting teachers with planned activities and monitoring pupil progress.

The position offers a permanent contract with a salary scale of £25,614 - £26,016 (FTE) and an actual salary of £19,158 - £19,458. The role reports to the Principal, with start ASAP and closing dates in September.

Qualifications

• Experience in providing exceptional support to children and staff.
• Passion for supporting and caring for pupils' needs.
• Ability to work closely with teachers and pupils to create an inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning under the direction of class teachers.
• Plan, prepare and deliver learning activities for pupils as required.
• Monitor, assess, record and report on children's progress and development.
