Lincolnshire Gateway Academies Trust is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support students and staff at our Academy. The role emphasises inclusion and supporting children with SEND, including 1:1 support and assisting the class teacher with groups or individuals in the classroom.
You will work with children to support social, emotional or behavioural needs, maintain a calm manner, and contribute to a team. DBS checks and safeguarding are required in line with safer recruitment practices.

Salary: £26,445.00 - LGAT 5 pro rata.
Actual Salary: £16,977.69
Term time + Inset days (195 days per year)

We are looking for someone who believes in inclusion for all students and is able to implement strategies to support children with SEND. Responsibilities will include working 1:1 to support children with additional needs and supporting the class teacher with groups of children or individuals in the classroom. The role will involve working with children to support any social, emotional or behavioural needs.
Whilst experience is not necessary, you must have a good standard of literacy, be adaptable and willing to be involved in all aspects of school life, have a calm manner and be able to work as part of a team.
