Job summary

Bicton CE Primary School and Nursery is seeking a confident Teaching Assistant (Level 2) to join the EYFS team on a fixed-term basis to 31 August 2027. The role is based at Bicton, Shropshire, within the Shropshire Church of England Academies Trust.

The successful candidate will be patient, with a warm and friendly attitude, and have experience of working with children in an educational setting. Level 2 TA qualification or equivalent is essential.

Overview

Bicton CE Primary School and Nursery, a school within Shropshire Church of England Academies Trust, are looking for a confident and knowledgeable Teaching Assistant (Level 2) to join their staff team. The successful candidate will predominantly work within EYFS.

Fixed Term (to 31/08/2027 in the first instance)

NJC Grade 5 (SCP 7)

28.75 hours per week (The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to combine this post with a Lunchtime Supervisor role for 2.5 hours per week. This can be discussed at interview).

Responsibilities

To be considered for this position you will need to have experience of working with children in an educational setting. You should also have a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent qualification.
