Job summary

Value Education LTD is seeking a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support pupils across primary age groups in Rochdale and surrounding areas. The role runs Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm, with an ASAP start and daily rates of £93–£100.

You will work within mainstream classrooms, helping individuals or groups reach their potential, and assisting teachers with lesson delivery. DBS and access to a Level 2 TA qualification are requested.

Qualifications

• Strong communication with patience and a positive approach towards students.
• Experience within classrooms within a primary school.
• DBS on the update service (we will work with you to obtain one if you don't have one).

Responsibilities

• Helping individual and/or groups of students to achieve their full potential in each classroom.
• Help to prepare the classroom for whatever may be in store for the class on that lesson.
• To record and report back the progress of students to teachers, parents or carers.
• To lead activities within the classroom and assist the teachers with the delivery of lessons.

Here at Value Education, we are looking for a passionate and impactful Level 2 Teaching Assistant looking to become part of the team. You will be working within a Mainstream Primary School setting, across various age groups in and around the Rochdale area.

Due to a high demand of Supply staff, we will be able to work around the location that works best for you.
