Job summary

Value Education LTD in Manchester is seeking a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support pupils across various age groups in a mainstream primary school setting.

You will work Monday to Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm, starting ASAP. The role involves aiding individual and group learning, preparing classrooms, and reporting progress to teachers and parents.

Qualifications

• Experience within classrooms within a primary school.
• Holds a Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification.
• DBS on the update service (we will work with you to obtain one if you don't have one)
• Strong communication with patience and a positive approach towards students.

Responsibilities

• Help individual and/or groups of students to achieve their full potential in each classroom.
• Help to prepare the classroom for whatever may be in store for the class on that lesson
• To record and report back the progress of students to teachers, parents or carers.
• To lead activities within the classroom and assist the teachers with the delivery of lessons.
