Job summary

Value Education Ltd is seeking Level 3 Teaching Assistants for Manchester schools. You will support pupils in early years to SEN settings, across primary and secondary environments, on both full-time and part-time contracts.

Join a welcoming team across Manchester with a range of roles and a competitive pay rate (£115-£135 per hour depending on experience). You will help pupils develop learning, confidence and wellbeing while following safeguarding and school policies.

Qualifications

• Level 3 TA qualification or equivalent.
• Experience working with children or young people in educational settings.
• Passion for supporting pupils to reach their potential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy and a positive approach.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a school team.
• Good safeguarding knowledge and promoting pupil welfare.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils on a 1:1 or small-group basis.
• Assist with classroom activities and learning programmes.

• Work with teachers to create an inclusive learning environment.
• Provide pastoral and behavioural support where required.
• Support pupils' academic, emotional and personal development.
• Prepare classroom resources and learning materials.
• Contribute to pupils' progress and maintain records.

The Role

As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other education professionals to support pupils in their learning, development and wellbeing.

Depending on the school and setting, your responsibilities may include:

• Supporting pupils on a 1:1 or small-group basis.
