Job summary

Evergreen Primary Academy in Bristol is seeking a level 1 Teaching Assistant to support learning, engagement and wellbeing across key stages. You will work with individuals and small groups and assist with interventions to raise attainment.

The role emphasizes inclusion, safeguarding and collaborative practice within a nurturing environment. Start date 04 January 2027; 33.75 hours per week, term time plus inset days.

Qualifications

• Experience of supporting children to access the curriculum and wellbeing.
• Ability to deliver planned learning activities and targeted interventions.
• Commitment to safeguarding, equality, diversity and welfare of children.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils' learning, development and wellbeing within the classroom.
• Lead interventions and support learners with SEND needs.
• Support pupils one-to-one and in small groups under supervision.
• Collaborate with teachers to deliver planned activities and monitor progress.
