Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils across Year 1 and Year 2 in a Bristol-based primary school. The role is suitable for someone who is reliable, enthusiastic and keen to contribute to a calm, productive learning environment.

The post is full-time, temp-to-perm, paid on a PAYE basis with competitive rates and access to CPD courses through the My-Progression channel. You will work closely with the class teacher to deliver quality learning activities and

Qualifications

• A relevant TA qualification or equivalent.
• Experience working within a Primary School setting.
• Experience supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 / KS1.
• Confidence supporting learning within Year 1 and Year 2.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• A positive, adaptable and enthusiastic approach.

Responsibilities

• Work across Year 1 and Year 2 supporting learning.
• Assist with classroom activities and resources.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to provide effective classroom support.
