Frome Vale Academy, a single form entry school in Downend, Bristol, is seeking a Teaching Assistant - Level 1 to join our dedicated team. The role is permanent, 32.5 hours per week, with an actual annual salary of £16,702–£18,204 (CLF Grade B pro-rata for part-year hours).

Support students by adopting relevant strategies and techniques to enable them to access the curriculum, engage with their learning and achieve their full potential. Takes responsibility for implementing planned learning activities/ teaching programmes as agreed with the teacher, adjusting activities according to students’ responses as appropriate. Deliver measurable impact on student attainment as well as social and emotional well-being. Works collaboratively with relevant colleagues to fulfil the requirements of the role.

Frome Vale Academy is a dynamic, vibrant school in the heart of its local community within Downend, Bristol. We are a single form entry school, with a maximum of 30 children per year group with an 'outstanding' Ofsted rating.
The school is set within beautiful grounds of approximately 9 acres, which are used extensively for outside learning and play. At Frome Vale, our children are encouraged and guided to achieve their full potential within a safe and engaging environment.
