Job summary

Frome Vale Academy, located in Bristol, seeks a Teaching Assistant – Level 1 to provide tailored support enabling pupils to access the curriculum and engage with learning. You will implement planned activities, adjust approaches based on student responses, and work with teachers to promote attainment and well-being.

We value empathetic, patient individuals with strong interpersonal skills who can manage behavior in small groups and contribute to an inclusive school community.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a single form entry school is essential.
  • Willingness to pursue NVQ 2/3 or equivalent and first aid qualification.
  • Ability to engage students one-to-one or in small groups.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and active listening.
