Job summary

All Souls’ CE invites applications for a Teaching Assistant (Level 1) to provide 1:1 support for a pupil from 8.30am to 3.30pm during term time. The post is fixed term linked to funding until 21 July 2027, working 32.5 hours per week in a supportive, structured school environment.

The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to enable access to learning, uphold safeguarding standards and support the school’s aims for high expectations and pupil wellbeing.

We would like to appoint a caring and dedicated Teaching Assistant (Level 1) to provide 1:1 support for a child between the hours of 8.30am and 15.30pm. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to support the child's individual needs, helping them to access learning and thrive within our school community.

The successful candidate we would like to appoint must be flexible, enthusiastic, passionate and be able to work as part of a skilled team within an organised and disciplined environment.

The ability to converse at ease with customers and service users and provide advice in accurate spoken English is an essential requirement of this post.
