Hollin Primary School in Middleton, Rochdale, is seeking a Teaching Assistant Level 1 to support children for 32.5 hours per week during term time. The role runs 8:30am–3:30pm (includes a 30-minute lunch break) and is permanent.

Job description

Actual Salary: £18,650 - £18,943

The Governing Body of Hollin Primary School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and self-motivated teaching assistant.

Teaching Assistant Level 1 32½ hours a week.

The post is to support children as directed.

8:30am - 3:30pm (including a 30 minute lunch break).

Duties to include:

  • Assist with the supervision, personal care, welfare and keeping safe of individuals and/or groups of children under the direction/instruction of teaching and/or senior staff.
  • Supporting the teacher in planning learning activities for children.
  • Supporting the teacher in the evaluation of learning activities.
