Job summary

Boarshaw Primary in Middleton is inviting applications for two Level 1 Teaching Assistants to support teachers and help create an effective learning environment across the school.

The roles are class based, across the school, supporting whole classes, small groups or 1:1, with responsibilities including resource support, basic classroom management, safeguarding, and promoting pupil welfare. Applicants should be flexible, good communicators with a positive approach.

Due to expansion, Boarshaw Primary are seeking to appoint two Level 1 Teaching Assistant who will be able to support the Teacher and create an effective learning environment.

The positions are based across school and are class based, supporting whole classes, small groups or 1:1 support in classrooms.

We are seeking to recruit a person who will:

• Act as a responsible adult and assist with the supervision, personal care, welfare and keeping safe of individuals and / or groups of children and their environment under the direction / instruction of teaching and / or senior staff.
• Assist with resources and basic classroom management techniques to support their learning.
• Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young children and young people.
