Job summary

Milk Education is recruiting a dedicated and confident Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and inclusive Primary School in Liverpool (L33) on a longterm basis. You will support pupils in KS1, working closely with the class teacher to deliver phonics, literacy and numeracy activities.

Qualifications

  • Recent experience in a primary school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and child development.
  • Caring, patient and proactive approach to supporting learning.
  • Confidence working independently and following teacher-led planning.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality classroom support across KS1, working in partnership with the class teacher.
  • Deliver targeted small-group interventions and structured 1:1 support to pupils.
  • Support planning and delivery of phonics, early literacy, writing, and numeracy activities.
  • Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to the teacher to support assessment and planning.
  • Promote positive behaviour, inclusion and emotional wellbeing.
  • Support pupils with additional needs, adapting activities where appropriate.
  • Assist with lesson preparation, classroom organisation and learning resources.
  • Act as a positive role model, supporting children's independence and confidence.

Milk Education is recruiting a dedicated and confident Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and inclusive Primary School in Liverpool (L33) on a longterm basis.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to take an active role within a KS1 classroom, supporting pupils' academic, social, and emotional development. You will work closely with the class teacher and wider school team, contributing to highquality learning experiences and helping to create a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment where every child is supported to achieve their full potential.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Provide highquality classroom support across KS1, working in partnership with the class teacher
