Job summary

Milk Education is working with a warm, welcoming primary school in the L20 area of Liverpool, seeking a Year 3 Teacher to join a dedicated KS2 team. This role is ECT-friendly and ideal for those at the start of their career, supported by an experienced teaching team, strong leadership, and established planning systems to deliver engaging, high-quality lessons.

You will work within a collaborative KS2 team, have access to SEN support when required, and be encouraged to develop your practice as

Qualifications

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) with ECTs welcome.
  • Strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum, especially Year 3.
  • Dedicated to inclusive practice and safeguarding.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging Year 3 lessons aligned to the KS2 National Curriculum.
  • Differentiate teaching to meet diverse pupil needs including SEND.
  • Assess pupil progress and contribute to planning with the KS2 team.
  • Collaborate with the SENCO and staff to support outcomes.

Milk Education is delighted to be working with a warm, welcoming, and inclusive primary school in the L20 area of Liverpool, who are seeking a Year 3 Teacher to join their dedicated KS2 team.

This role is ECT-friendly and ideal for teachers at the start of their career or those looking to further develop their confidence within a supportive Key Stage 2 environment.

You will be supported by an experienced teaching team, strong leadership, and well-established planning systems, allowing you to focus on delivering engaging and high-quality lessons.

Classroom & School Support

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum
  • Create a positive, stimulating, and inclusive Year 3 classroom environment
  • Support pupils' progress across English, Maths, Science, and the wider curriculum
  • Assess, monitor, and record pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs
  • Differentiate learning to support all pupils, including those with SEND
  • Promote positive behaviour, independence, and a love of learning
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff, the SENCO, and senior leadership to ensure the best outcomes for all pupils
