Job summary

St Paul’s C of E Primary School is seeking two Teaching Assistants (L2) to join a happy, supportive team within the Orchard Multi-Academy Trust. You will work across year groups to support children with diverse needs, including those on the Autistic spectrum and with EHCPs, providing 1:1 and small-group help, and assisting with assessment and interventions in English and Maths.

Qualifications

• Good GCSEs in Maths and English or equivalent.
• Experience with SEND including Autism and EHCPs.
• At least two years' relevant work experience.
• Experience supporting teaching in class or groups and 1:1.
• Experience in assessment and evidencing learning.
• Ability to deliver English and Maths interventions.
• Flexible across year groups.
• Good communication with children, staff and parents.
• Team player with willingness to be flexible.

Responsibilities

• Support children with a wide range of needs in class and groups.
• Provide 1:1 help and targeted interventions in English and Maths.
• Assist with assessment, recording learning progress and outcomes.
• Collaborate with teachers and other staff to support learning and safeguarding.
