Job summary

Saint Paul's Catholic High School is seeking a Teaching Assistant Level 2 SAN on a permanent, full-time basis (35 hours per week, 39 weeks a year, including inset days). The role welcomes applicants with experience supporting pupils with high needs, EHCPs and SEND, including delivery of therapy programmes and ILPs under teacher supervision.

You will help maintain a safe classroom and outdoor environment, work with groups or whole classes as needed, and collaborate within a supportive team

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children with SEND and EHCPs.
• Ability to support learning across a curriculm and ILPs.

Responsibilities

• Support students who need help to overcome barriers to learning.
• Provide specialist support in a specific area of the curriculum.
• Work with groups under teacher supervision delivering therapy programmes and ILPs.
• Assist the teacher to ensure a safe classroom and outdoor environment.
• Supervise groups or small classes as required.
