Job summary

Little Mead Primary Academy in the West of England is inviting applications for a teaching assistant to join from November 2026. The role is part-time (32.5 hours per week) on a fixed-term basis until 31 August 2027, with a focus on delivering high-quality interventions and supporting pupils with diverse needs.

The successful candidate will work closely with teachers, contribute to a supportive school community, and help maintain high standards of pupil behaviour and achievement.

Grade : BG5 N4-N5 £25,185-£25,583 FTE (£19,346.06 - £19,651.78 Actual Salary)

Contract: Part Time 32.5 Hours a week / Fixed term until 31 August 2027

Hours: 8:00-3:30 Monday to Friday

Fluency Duty

This role has been identified as falling within the definition of requiring fluency in spoken English. You will be required to speak English with confidence and be able to conduct a conversation and answer questions for extended periods of time.
